I lost over 1200 Favorites in the great purge, so I understand how you feel. All my information comes from "mainstream media". In December a New York Times article and the CNN website offered a glimpse of what is happening behind the scenes. There is a strong "anti-porn" law hidden in the stimulus bill passed by the U.S. Congress. The Feds are really cracking down on (mainly) "exploitation of .... people whose birth year begins with the digit 2" and also on "copyright violations". (I hate that vocabulary censor program.) Hamster got caught by surprise because they have not done a good job policing this site. I think they owe us a detailed explanation of all that is happening and some "straight answers: so we can decide where to go from here. I especially want to know when users can start posting photos again and what the requirements are. I am very frustrated and disappointed at the moment, but I think I will be patient for a while and see how it all shakes out.
