1. Introduction
1.1 The following Terms and Conditions outline how you as a User - whether registered or not - can make optimum use of The Wedding Secret. By using The Wedding Secret website – whether you are registered or not - you are also agreeing to adhere to our Terms and Conditions as laid out and detailed within this document, and that you have acknowledged and accepted our Privacy Policy.

2. What Can I Access?
2.1 Unregistered Users - Without registering, you are able to access a list of Wedding Secret Suppliers within currently existing areas (eg Bath or Bristol) and within their relevant categories. You can view their listings (Mini-Sites) and contact them directly by means of revealing and dialling their telephone number. You will not be able to interact via the 'Make An Enquiry' button, which allows Registered Users to send a text-based message to the Supplier in question. However, Unregistered Users are nonetheless able to access our nationally-based Magazine, which contains articles offering miscellaneous tips and advice, often spotlighting other featured wedding Suppliers.
2.2 Registered Users - Those who register with The Wedding Secret are able to access The Wedding Secret's 'Bridal Tools', which offer a range of ways to organise the planning of your wedding day, and after entering the postcode location of your forthcoming wedding celebration, all Suppliers within any category selected by you will appear in a hierarchical sequence based primarily on their respective distance from that location.
3. Registering
3.1 You must be over 16 years of age in order to register with The Wedding Secret.
3.2 You are responsible for the security of your own password, and if you know or suspect that someone else is in possession of your password, you should contact us immediately.
4. Guarantee of Quality
4.1 Although we take the utmost care in selecting and displaying only the best and most reputable wedding Suppliers in a given local area, The Wedding Secret cannot be held responsible for any instance of unsatisfactory service being provided by any of those Suppliers who feature on our website.
4.2 The Wedding Secret does not take responsibility for the actions of any Supplier featured on our website, nor does it take responsibility for any consequences of communication or transactions of any kind between Suppliers and Users.
4.3 Although we go to great lengths to ensure that the information contained within each Supplier's listing or image gallery, and appearing on any page within The Wedding Secret website (including The Wedding Secret Magazine), is accurate and up-to-date, The Wedding Secret takes no responsibility for any false, misleading or inaccurate information severally submitted to us by our Suppliers, and any actions or consequences of any such incorrect information.
5. Bridal Tools
5.1 As a Registered User, you will have full access to our selection of 'Bridal Tools', which have been designed specifically to assist you in planning your wedding. The Bridal Tools are suitable to serve as an aid or accompaniment to your wedding planning process only, and The Wedding Secret cannot be held responsible for any errors caused by loss of information entered into our database via the Bridal Tools.
5.2 You can also communicate with a number of your intended wedding guests via our Bridal Tools, and as such The Wedding Secret cannot be held responsible for any loss of any kind due to messages or emails not reaching the appropriate recipients.
5.3 Users may save favourite suppliers in the 'My Favourites' tool and images in the 'Scrapbook' tool. Occasionally, suppliers will no longer wish to be included on The Wedding Secret, so users with these businesses saved into their 'My Favourites' or any image which have been saved into their 'Scrapbook' originally associated by that business is likely to disappear from the tools.
6. Special Offers
6.1 From time to time, Suppliers who feature on our website advertise exclusive discounts or special offers for those who use The Wedding Secret. These discounts will be displayed on the individual Supplier's Mini-Site (listing) and sometimes also on our Magazine.
6.2 The Suppliers in question are responsible for maintaining and updating any special offer that is displayed within their Mini-Sites. Suppliers must honour their special offers if they are displayed on their listing, unless such offer is out-of-date or otherwise invalid as written in the listing.
7. Competitions and Giveaways
7.1 The Wedding Secret may from time to time stage competitions or organise giveaways offered by individual Suppliers. When advertising details of a prize or a service that is independently promised by another company, The Wedding Secret cannot be held responsible for the delivery of this prize or completion of this service. The independent Supplier involved will throughout assume and bear full responsibility.
7.2 Competitions may have their own terms and conditions, which you agree to by entering the competition. Competitions may have their own privacy conditions.
7.2 Wedding Secret Suppliers (or ex-Suppliers) themselves and their families are ineligible to enter any competition or giveaway organised by The Wedding Secret, as these initiatives are primarily intended to be for the benefit of prospective brides and grooms.
8. Uploads and code of conduct
8.1 When commenting on our magazines, communicating with Suppliers or other Users, uploading images to your 'Scrapbook' Bridal Tool, entering information into notes or any of the Bridal Tools, or otherwise using any part of our website, you must not breach any of the following Conditions and Codes of Conduct-
8.2 You are prohibited from uploading or transmitting to or from this website any material which is:- Threatening, abusive, pornographic, defamatory, obscene, indecent, seditious, offensive, liable to incite racial hatred, scandalous, discriminatory, menacing, inflammatory, blasphemous, in breach of confidence, in breach of privacy, or which may in any way cause annoyance or inconvenience.
- Copyrighted by an individual or organisation other than yourself, such as images you upload to the 'Scrapbook' Bridal Tool, except with the copyright-holders express permission.
- Constituting or encouraging conduct that would be considered illegal, a criminal offence, or give rise to civil liability, or otherwise be contrary to UK law or infringe the rights of any third party in the United Kingdom.
- Technically harming, including, without limitation, computer viruses, logic bombs, Trojan horses, worms, harmful components, corrupted data or other malicious software or harmful data.
8.3 You may not technically abuse The Wedding Secret, either via hacking or 'phishing'.
8.4 We will co-operate with any court order or law enforcement authority requesting or directing us to identify or discover anyone posting any material in breach of clauses 8.1 or 8.2.
9. Service Access
9.1 Although we will continue to strive to the best of our ability to ensure that The Wedding Secret website will be operational 24 hours, 365 days a year, we will not be deemed liable if the website becomes temporarily unavailable or is rendered inaccessible for short periods of time, due to essential maintenance or server downtime.
9.2 The Wedding Secret bears no responsibility for loss of work or information input carried out on the website which is thus lost due to an inability to save/submit such work - whether due to server downtime or temporary glitches.

10.1 The Wedding Secret and any other associated party (no matter whether they are currently or were at any time historically involved in the production, maintenance or delivery of this website), together with its officers, directors, employees, shareholders and/or their agents, exclude all liability and responsibility for any degree, level or type of loss or damage that may result either to you or to a third party (including without limitation, any direct, indirect, punitive or consequential loss or damages, or any loss of income, profits, goodwill, data, contracts, loss of money, or loss or damages arising from or connected in any way to business interruption, and whether in tort (including without limitation negligence), under contract, or otherwise) in connection with this website in any way or in connection with the use, inability to use or the results of use of this website, any websites linked to this website or the material contained on such websites, including but not limited to loss or damage due to viruses that may infect your computer equipment, software, data or other property on account of your access to, use of, or browsing of this website, or your downloading of any material from this website or any websites linked to this website.
10.2 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for:
-Death or personal injury caused by negligence (as such term is defined by the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977)

-Misrepresentation as to a fundamental matter
-Any liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable English law
10.3 If your use of material on this website results in the need for servicing, repair or correction of equipment, software or data, you assume all costs thereof.
10.4 You agree to indemnify us fully, defend and hold us and our officers, directors, employees, shareholders and/or their agents, immune from and against all claims, liability, damages, losses or costs (including legal fees) arising out of any breach of the Terms and Conditions by you, or through your use of this website, or such use by any other person assuming your registration details.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
11.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Disputes arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
11.2 We do not warrant that materials/items/services offered for sale by independent Suppliers on The Wedding Secret website are appropriate or available for use outside the United Kingdom. It is prohibited to access the website from territories wherein its contents may be illegal or unlawful. If you access this website from locations outside the United Kingdom, you do so entirely at your own risk, and you are at all times responsible for compliance with local laws.
