Despite his financial irresponsibility, he finds an opportunity as a backup dancer in a Bollywood movie and secretly moves to Mumbai around the same time as his mother. Aunty Bunmi’s brother, Olumide, who has settled in India, is a successful but cold and calculating businessman. His life takes an unexpected turn when his accountant, Kabir, introduces him to a property that reconnects him with Rekha, a woman he once loved and wanted to marry, but who refused him due to family pressure. Rekha now lives there with her pregnant daughter, stirring old emotions in Olumide.

In the hospital, Aunty Bunmi meets Dr. Siddarth, who feels a connection to her as his wife, Zainab, is Nigerian.
