"Honey, I need you to get up," stepMom said barging into your room. It was early in the morning, which meant it was time to get ready for and time to take your medicine. "I need you to take this," stepMom said handing you your ADD medicine. "Hurry." You slowly took it from her hand, put it into your mouth, and swallowed it. "I'll be back, get up," she said. "Busy day." You were still exhausted, and you knew stepMom always woke you up too early, so you had an extra five minutes to sleep.
