Our Parties: People, Places & Things

We thought I'd tell you about our parties. No not the sexy details but the nuts and bolts on how to put together a lifestyle party. We've had a lot of compliments on our parties so I thought I'd give you a run down on what we do. Basically the people, places and things that go into our parties.

First the People:
The most important ingredient to a lifestyle party is the people. We party with a regular group of bisexual couples here locally. We've known each couple for about 10 years so we know what each other likes by now. All of them are close to our age and we get together for other things too. It's not that we're totally against meeting new people but it's so comfortable now. Meeting new people can be exciting but it's been our experience that it can be awkward and sometimes boring. Since everybody is bisexual it's much more exciting. The women love watching us guys get it on. My wife has admitted that watching me with another woman doesn't turn her on, but she loves it when I 69 with another one of the husbands. And she truly can't contain herself when she sees another cock pumping my ass. Getting together a group of couples like this doesn't happen overnight but it's worth the wait.

The most important thing about partying with people we know: THE WOMEN GET ALONG!!! Let's be real, if the women don't like each other there's drama and the party sucks. When the women like each other and are friends the party is fantastic and lasts all night.

The Place:
All our parties are summer time outdoor evening parties. We live on the coast of South Carolina and we have parties from late April till mid October. We have a large yard and have a patio area enclosed by a wooden privacy fence. In the patio we have a nice deck with a dining table and a lounge area with an outdoor love seat and two chairs. We also have a small outdoor kitchen counter and cabinets I made. It has a refrigerator, a working sink and a grill. Incorporated into the deck is our large 6 person hot tub. Off the deck we have a lounge area with 4 deck chairs and for sun worshippers we have two loungers and a two person orbit lounger. There's an outdoor shower to cool yourself off. We also have a queen size outdoor bed I made from treated wood and a foam mattress. We have two outdoor speakers that are hooked up to the stereo inside and plays music from our computer.

Most all our furniture is resin from Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart or Target except for the love seat and chairs are teak. I keep the resin furniture looking new by using Krylon Fusion spray paint for plastic. The dual Orbit Lounger can be found at Walmart or Big Lots. It is surprisingly comfortable and can hold a lot of weight. (We've had 3 couples on it!) Just buy a large cover for it and make sure it's covered when you're not using it.

The daybed I made out of treated lumber and deck screws. The mattress is a 6 inch foam mattress we bought at Walmart online. We keep the mattress covered with a plastic fitted tarp made for a large outdoor table. When we use it we put a comforter on top and put a fitted sheet on top of that. Makes it more comfortable and the muffles the sound of the plastic tarp. Some extra pillows from the linen closet and your set.

The hot tub I bought used and cheap. It didn't work, but it didn't leak. I bought all new electronics online and refinished the old wooden skirt. A new hot tub the same size is about $4,000 and up. I paid less than $1000 total. If you are handy and are in the market for a hot tub look for something used that doesn't leak. You can replace the guts with a new spa pack for about $600 delivered. If you want to know more message me and I'll fill you in.

The Things:
First the food. We like to keep it simple and light. Burgers and hot dogs on the grill. Macaroni salad, chips and veggies with dip and maybe some fruit. Just make sure you don't spend too much time behind the grill and not enough time having fun.

As for the beverages we like to keep it on the lighter side. We party outside under the sun and it can be draining. Any popular light beer is good for starters. You don't want any heavy ale or imported brands that will weigh you down. Individual cans of soda and diet soda are good to have. Two liter bottles and plastic cups can be a pain. Also keep a couple dozen small bottles of Gatorade or any sports drink on hand. It's been my experience that a cool shower and a bottle of Gatorade will refresh you and get you back into "the game."

My wife does make her famous Jose Cuervo margaritas. These drinks really get the party started. But to keep the party going she adds one tablespoon of lemon/lime Gatorade powder per pitcher. Everybody knows that drinking alcohol drains the body of minerals. Adding a tablespoon of lemon/lime Gatorade powder to every pitcher of her margaritas will replenish the body with minerals, sugars and salts and keep people partying. We've had many people comment how they'll have a bunch of her margaritas and don't get a hangover. Try it with any frozen drinks. Gatorade makes different powdered flavors so pick one that goes with your drink.

As for music, we play pretty much dance music. Let's face it, it's the music that gets the women going. If I played my favorite metal hits from Judas Priest, Motley Crue and Scorpions I doubt the women would get into it. We have a selection of 70's funk and disco, 80's dance, 90's club music and today's pop dance tunes. The great thing about partying with people our age is that they know all the dance hits from the past. Hey...the Macarena still gets the women going!

We like to have a bunch of beach towels for everyone and a few large tee shirts. For the bathroom we have plenty of toilet paper and all the toiletries. That includes moist wipes, feminine products and disposable enemas. Yeah it's not the most exciting side of preparing for a party but being prepared will avoid embarrassing moments. Also a couple tubes of any water based lube is a necessity.

That's pretty much it. Hopefully we've been a bit helpful in your party preparations. Can't wait to read some of your comments.

Thanks,

Those are good tips indeed... Never thought of using Gatorade powder in the mixes (good idea there). But always had them in the fridge for when needed.

After reading your blog it's easy to see why you've got lasting friends. Who wouldn't want to be included in such parties. You're living my dream life. I've got a great wife who is my soulmate and fulfills most of my needs. Unfortunately, she's not bi or interested in swinging so I've had to leave such activities in the dream realm. You're a lucky man and I can tell you understand that. I'm sooo jealous, but also very happy for you.

Thanks for posting this. I think what you all do is awesome. I'm 2000 miles away, but would love to at least be a fly on the wall (do you all ever shoot video of it?). nonetheless, keep up the good work!
