- [Instructor] Next up, let's talk about reading settings. It's kind of a weird thing to call it, but think of this as controlling options for visitors who come to read your content, hence reading settings. The first option is for your homepage, as in when you go to the URL, it's the first thing you see. By default, it's set up to show your latest post. This is the blog index, which is a reverse chronological list of the most recent posts. If your site is a straight up blog, you might want this option. Otherwise you'll probably want to create a specific page to use as your homepage, and this option lets you select that along with the page that you would like to designate for your blog. I'll cover creating a page for your blog later in this course. Next, we have this option for how many posts to display on a blog page.
