- [Instructor] In this lesson, I want to show you the content editing screen, which is essentially the same whether you're working with a post or a page. The editing screen in wordpress.com is probably the feature with the most drastic improvements over the years. In late 2018, wordpress.com rolled out a complete overhaul of the editing experience. Instead of the classic experience which was akin to a word processor, we now have the block editor. The idea of the block editor is that every single element on the page, whether it's a paragraph, an image, a quote, et cetera, each element is its own individual block. Blocks can be moved around the page and configured individually, which gives you more control than ever on how you create and arrange content.
