Insert and format a date control

- [Jess] Let's use a date control. I have two areas on this form where there's date fields. We have the application date where the user puts in the date that they're applying for our ambassador program. And all the way down at the bottom, I have a date where whoever's reviewing the application can say the date that they reviewed it. Now, these could absolutely be text controls. You could have the user type in the date, but you need to be aware that you're giving them the choice to put in whatever they want. So they could put in today, they could put in Friday, you just don't know. I like using the built-in date control, because that way it's going to be formatted to how you want it formatted. Let's take a look and I'll show you what I mean.
