- [Instructor] In this module, you learned a lot about various different wifi issues that could come up, such as connectivity problems, outdoor connectivity, conflicts, and others. Now it's time to get some hands-on experience and use that knowledge learned in this module. So let's give it a try. Download a wireless scanner. I suggest the Wi-Fi Analyzer onto your phone or your tablet, and then use it to scan wifi networks in your area. After you have this all set up and everything scanned, pause the video and let's take a look at the results. Let's see how you did. When you ran the scan, did you see more SSID identifiers than you thought? What channels were they all using? I'll bet you found that a lot of wifi networks were still set up using the 2.4 gigahertz range, and there was a lot of overlapping channels. So does that change your mind on how you want to use your wifi? Maybe you want to move to using five gigahertz or six gigahertz and move away from 2.4 gigahertz, for example…
