- [Instructor] Even when access points are configured correctly, you could have client issues such as incompatible or incorrectly configured hardware, and that can cause a lack of connectivity among other problems. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to go into device manager and take a look at my wireless card. So if I go into network adapters, I can see my wireless network card here. I can also see my other network card, which is a wired ethernet controller card. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to right click and choose properties and then go into advanced. And on higher end wireless cards or Wi-Fi cards, you're going to see a lot more options than you will on the lower end ones. I'm going to start with the driver that you see here. Here you can see that the driver was installed by Intel and it's an Intel card, so I know that it's using the Intel drivers, which is great, but you might find that you're looking at a Windows driver instead. And the Windows driver may not work…
