- [Instructor] Let's look at new features of Windows Server 2025, and we are going to talk about tools, diagnostics, and maintenance. So let's first talk about new performance counters. There have been some new performance counters that have been added or improved and these performance counters are related to DC locator service. So DC locator algorithm has improved significantly in Windows Server 2025, and now we have some performance counters that can track that improvement. So in other words, you can turn on performance counters and see how long it takes to find DC and how the performance has improved. Similar improvement has been done with LDAP client as well. We know that LDAP has improved significantly in terms of security, and now you can have performance counters that can track that improvement. So you can really see how LDAP requests are performing.
