- [Instructor] All right. So let's now move into some of our actual RAID types of volumes. I'd mentioned that in the previous video, and I said a spanned volume was not RAID. But we do have three different types of software RAID that we can implement here. So if I right click on the unallocated space, I could really pick any unallocated space, but I'll take disk one here and right click just to show you, we have our striped volume, which is RAID level 0. We have our mirrored volume, which is RAID level 1, and RAID 5 volume, well, which of course is RAID 5. It's called distributed parity. So for now let's take a look at how to do a striped volume. And this is again, what would be RAID 0. Now you'll see here it says, a striped volume stores data in two or more desks, okay, so you need at least two desks in order to do a Stripe, but you can do more. So I'm going to click on next.
