- [Instructor] And finally, the last type of volume that I'm going to show you is a RAID-5 volume or what's called disk striping with parity. So I will again click on some of my unallocated space. And the very last one listed here is a new RAID-5 volume. Now, RAID-5 says that it's going to store data in stripes, so it's disk striping, but you remember that disk striping said it had to be two or more disks? Well, this one says it's going to be three or more disks. You have to have at least three disks, if you don't, you cannot do RAID-5. Now, I'm going to go through, and we're going to create this and then I will kind of give you the rest of the explanation as to what exactly this type of volume does. So I'm going to click on next. And we need to use all three available disks 'cause you have to have at least three. You could do more, if we had more disks, we could do it, and there are benefits if you're going to do…
