- [Instructor] So now we've seen how to set the name on the Server Core edition. Now let's see how to go ahead and configure an IP address. So again, on the list here, you'll see here that we have, number eight says Network settings, so I will type eight and hit enter. And the first thing it wants you to do is it wants you to select the network adapter that you want to assign an IP address. Now you'll notice, I only have one, index number one. We see that on the list, index number one, but it already has an IP address assigned. And the reason is because it was assigned via a DHCP server, just as the other server was. The other server, we didn't ever look at it, but it did have an IP address that was assigned to it. So we're going to go ahead and we're going to change this, let's say, to another static IP address just as we did on the other server.
