Configuring a computer name with Server Manager
- [Instructor] After you have completed the installation of Windows Server 2022, there are a couple of primary configuration steps that you have to go through in order to truly have the server ready to be able to function in your environment. And so, we're going to take a look at how to do that here. So what we're looking at right now is the Windows Server 2022 with Desktop Experience version. And that's why, and I have done nothing. Right where we left off before, the system was booting up into this Desktop Experience. And the first thing that happens is it opens into this Server Manager. Now there is a message that comes up. It says, try managing servers with the Windows Admin Center. And there is a link if you want to get information about that admin center, but we're not going to deal with that right now.
