- [Instructor] If you need to install a new application that is not available on the Microsoft Store, you'll probably need to download it and install it from the web or install it from an installation disc. If you're using Windows 11 S, then you will not be able to install new applications from the web or from a disc. But for everybody else, let's look at atypical scenario. So you might open up your web browser and search for the application that you want to install. I'm going to search for Google Chrome. Of course, windows comes with Microsoft Edge, but it's very normal to install a different web browser like Chrome or Firefox. Here in the search results, I can see the link for the website for Google Chrome. I'll click on that to open it.
