- [Instructor] Normally, Windows Update will keep your device drivers up to date. However, if you're using third party device drivers, you may occasionally find that there's a need to manually update a device driver, particularly if you're having problems with a device, and the vendor that made the device has a new driver available. Now sometimes these third party drivers have their own installer, and you can just double-click on the installer, and it runs an MSI file and installs the updated device drivers. That's a fairly common thing, but that particular functionality isn't available for every third party device driver. So in those types of situations, you may be able to use the Device Manager to update a device driver. So let's take a look at how that works.
