- [Instructor] The professional edition of Windows 10 comes with Hyper-V which allows you to run virtual machines on a Windows 10 desktop. Now, from a troubleshooting standpoint the thing that you need to know is that when Hyper-V is enabled it changes the way that the Windows 10 network stack works. So let's take a look at what these changes look like and what they mean to you from a troubleshooting perspective. So what I'm going to do is go ahead and right click on the start button and I'm going to go to run and type control and click okay. Now, the machine that I'm on right now does not have Hyper-V installed. This is just a basic Windows 10 desktop. So I'm going to click on network and internet. From there, I'll go to Network and Sharing Center and then I'll click on change adapter settings. So as you can see, I've got one network adapter.
