Using quick create to create a virtual machine in Hyper-V
- As you have seen in a previous lesson, installing Hyper-V or better activating Hyper-V is not so difficult. The only requirement is you need to have the supported hardware and the supported Windows version. Once you have Hyper-V installed, you install the Hyper-V Manager and then you go to the interesting work, and that is where you create your virtual machines. Now in Hyper-V, there are two ways to create a virtual machine, and I want to show you both. In this video, I will show you the quick create option. In the next video, show you the new option, which is giving a little bit more control over the procedure. Let's go for quick create. So what is quick create doing? Well, it opens a window, and in this window you can select a couple of default operating systems that have been provided with Hyper-V.
