Upgrading VMware Player to Pro
- So far, we've been talking about VMware player. VMware player allows you to play a virtual machine and not much more. If you want to have more options, you probably want to use VMware Workstation Pro. You need to pay for it. It's great software and that's why I want to show you how you can upgrade to VMware Workstation Pro if you have VMware Player installed. Just click the option and that'll bring you to the VMware window where you can use the buy online option. And here you can see what you can do. So what is this? There's an option to buy player and there's an option to buy Pro. Why would you want to buy Player? Well, that's because the license agreements in VMware player are for free usage, for personal use. If you are using it for commercial purposes, you should buy a copy. Now, I don't want to use VMware player for commercial purposes. I am just going for the Buy Pro option.
