- One of the biggest mistakes I see in hybrid meetings is leaving out the human side of things. Being on a video call might still be uncomfortable for a lot of you. It can feel like you need to be on all the time. I get it, and it's completely understandable. Thankfully, there are simple tips you can implement to make it easier to connect with your colleagues and get things done during meetings. One of the biggest differences between in-person and virtual meetings is that we now see ourselves on video. It's natural for our eyes to be drawn to our video feeds for any number of reasons. We might be observing how we come across reacting to something, or maybe we're being critical or self-conscious about how we look that day.
