Iteration
(gentle rhythmic music) - It's important to remember that the design thinking process is not linear. It's iterative. This means that the steps we've discussed today, empathize, define, ideate and prototype, and test are not necessarily done in the order we discussed, but instead may happen cyclically. In other words, the process is designed to encourage exploration and experimentation to arrive at the best possible solution for the user. This means that there may be multiple rounds of testing, ideation and refinement as the team works to improve the product and the user experience. Iterative design means that the process is not a one-time event, but an ongoing process of continuous improvement. As new insights are gained and new ideas are generated, the design can evolve and change. This flexibility and openness to change is one of the key strengths of the design thinking process.
