Interactive components in Figma prototyping
- [Instructor] In the previous video, we dove into dragging and scrolling interactions using Figma and using an overlay. In this video, let's talk about prototyping with interactive components in Figma. The last part of this prototype is the customization flow, and let's talk a little bit about the design. We have a different color selected, and when the user taps on any of these hat colors, they should see the hat change color in real time. After they select that color, they press Next and move on to the next step. When putting a prototype like this in front of users, if you're planning on having the prototype be somewhat self-driven, you may want a little bit more functionality in terms of what the user is able to tap on. For example, if the user taps on any of these colors, but your prototype is only wired up to tap on one color on the top row, then you'll have to direct the user to tap on that specific color.
