What are the WCAG 2.0 guidelines?

- [Instructor] In this video, I want to talk about the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, which were developed by the W3C, an organization which sets the standard for web development. The WCAG is a volunteer group of individuals tasked with creating the guidelines followed by the industry to address accessibility when it comes to web design and coding. The WCAG is focused on four guiding principles, Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust. These are also the four principles around which Stark has aligned itself. If you're interested in learning more about these principles, point your browser to this page and go through them. They're quite extensive and quite detailed. How tightly aligned is Stark to the WCAG principles? As you use the tools, Stark will show you not only which standard is being checked, but will also provide you with three or more suggestions you can use to come into alignment.
