- [Instructor] There are a lot of options for how an organization might communicate using the mix of Outlook and Teams. The choices in the calendar are much more limited. You either can or can't do something in the Outlook calendar, can or can't do something in the Teams calendar. And there are many features in both of these applications for calendaring and scheduling. The area of overlap where you can work with something in the same way in Outlook and Teams is really focused on your personal calendar, which is stored in Microsoft Exchange. Your personal calendar is the only calendar that you have access to in Outlook and Teams. For example, if you serve as a delegate on someone else's calendar, if you manage other people's calendars or other calendars for resources or rooms, you can only work with those calendars in Outlook because you don't have access to them in Teams.
