- [Instructor] I want to take a small step back for a moment, and talk about something I think is critical. To successfully use SharePoint syntax to analyze and organize your documents, and your forms too, you need an understanding of both what your documents are, and the type of information that they contain. Now you'd think that this was obvious, but you'd be surprised how many times people launch off into trying to build models, without really knowing what they have. This results in a trial and error approach, that can be extremely frustrating and time consuming. I suggest that you take the time upfront, to do a thorough inventory of the different types of documents you and your team are dealing with on a regular basis. You can then take a look at them individually, to see what types of content you're capturing in them. Who in your organization uses data from these documents, and how do they use it?
