- [Presenter] If I want to have a conversation with one or two people, I don't need to create a channel for that conversation to live in, and I shouldn't create a channel. I instead should use Direct Messages. So if I wanted to create a new Direct Message for someone, if it's someone I've communicated with before, like Charles Woodwick, I can simply click, and this is the history of my messages with Charles. We don't message back and forth very much but I can message Charles Woodwick and I post here in the same way that I would post something in a channel. So I'm going to message, how are things, Charles? I heard your son was in an accident at school. If there's anything I can do, let me know. Because Charles has covered for me when I've needed to be out of the office, so I want to make sure I do that. I could add an emoji or something else, but this is all I really want to say right now.
