Respond to a message
- [Instructor] Whenever someone posts a message, other people have the opportunity to read it and then to react to it. That's the point of Slack. And we have a lot of different choices about how we might react to a particular message. For example, I can add a personal reaction. And if I click the reaction button, I have lots of choices. These are handy reactions that get used a lot. I can add another emoji down here. I can set the emojis that are people-based, like the smileys, based on my own skin tone choice here. And I can look at emojis by group, for example, travel emojis, sports emojis. But if I were looking here for an emoji on sales, and I'll wait for a moment, and that looks kind of okay. So I can simply respond with an emoji. If that doesn't necessarily mean anything, I can respond with a thumbs up emoji if I prefer 'cause that's just like, "Yep, that's cool."
