Setting shadows and fog in SketchUp

- [Instructor] Using shadows and fog in your 3D model can really enhance how the model is viewed. Before we apply the settings, I'd like to note using shadows and fog can make your model run more slowly, so it may feel laggy when you change the camera view if these settings are on. So they're great for presentation, but not as friendly for active modeling. So when you're working on your model, be sure to have the shadows and fog off for faster navigation. To turn on shadows and fog, you can go to View, Shadows, and then View, Fog as well. To change the settings of the shadows and the fog, you can open up those corresponding panels. Mac users, you'll find that under Window, Shadows, as well as Window, Fog. Windows users, you'll find those in your default tray, or you can add them by going to View, Default Tray, and checking Shadows and Fog. Let's take a look at shadows first.
