LayOut preferences
- [Instructor] Chapter 02_04, we're looking at the preferences that you can set in Layout. So whether you're using Windows or Mac, the options are the same, it's just getting there is slightly different. On a Windows, we go Edit and then down to Preferences. And on the Mac you go to the Layout menu and then find Preferences, and then you'll see something set up very similar to this. So the top one we've got is the Default Applications. So if we wanted to use Photoshop or other image editor available, then you can browser for that using the Choose button. Similarly, you've go the same option with the text editor, and also you can use a table editor sort of like Excel for example, because you can use tables inside this software. Backup is the next one. So, advisable to create backups. Every five minutes if you want. You can change that value by clicking and just entering a new value. So let's say 10 minutes for that.
