Overview of the Sketch app
- We're going to get an overview of sketch and create our first art board. At the end of this video, you will understand, why sketch? and be able to set up your first art board and sketch file. to start. Your screen probably looks like mine. If you haven't used sketch before, you need to select the new document icon and double-click to open up your first sketch file. Sketch is similar to other design tools. We have a sidebar on the left, a toolbar at the top and our inspector on the right. It's a little bit different from some design tools because what features or properties that we have available are dependent on what object that we've selected. So now that we have our canvas, which is a bit in the middle selected, we don't have very many options that we can use to get a bit more stuff to do. Let's insert our first art board.
