- [Instructor] SharePoint admins are often called on to resolve issues that disrupt productivity. From users struggling with access to workflows breaking down, admins play a key role in ensuring SharePoint runs smoothly. While every problem is unique, there are a few challenges that admins face regularly. And here's how to address them using the tools available in the SharePoint Admin Center. Access issues are probably the most frequent problems. Someone says they can't access a file or a library or a site that they believe that they need. To troubleshoot, start by reviewing the site in the Active Sites list in the Admin Center. Look at the members field to confirm whether the user has permissions to the site. If they don't, work with the site owner to add the user to the correct group. If the user does have site access, check that the library, list, or file they need hasn't been restricted with unique permissions or sensitivity labels.
