Tracking SharePoint changes with history reports

- [Instructor] Accountability in SharePoint starts with knowing what's changed, when and by whom. Change history reports are extremely useful for investigating unexpected issues and ensuring that everything in SharePoint is running smoothly, whether it's a critical document being updated, a site permission being modified, or a file being deleted, having a clear record of changes is very helpful in maintaining security and transparency. Fortunately, generating a change history report is simple. From the SharePoint admin homepage, click reports, then select change history. Now a quick note, this is considered a pro feature, so depending on your license, it may not be visible. If it isn't, you can still get reports through Microsoft Purview, but you'll need to work with someone who has the proper permissions to access those tools.
