- [Narrator] Let's talk about roll-up summary fields. So roll-up summary fields, you may or may not see on the exam. I say it's pretty unlikely that you'll see this on the exam, however it is good to know and understand and at least start to get thinking about roll-up summary fields. So these are fields that help you calculate other numbers within a master detail relationship. So this is going to be pretty complicated to understand without having an example. So let's go ahead and go to Burlington Textiles. We can have on the details page a number of closed opportunities here with Burlington Textiles Corp of America. So what that'll do is it'll count all of the closed opportunities that we have had that are related to this account. So opportunities being on a different object. You can see that we currently have one and it is closed, but let's say that we had maybe 10 of these opportunities and maybe 60% of them were closed.
