- [Instructor] All right, let's go and jump into reports and dashboards practice questions so you can get a little bit more familiar with a thought process on how to work through questions, as well as maybe some of the formatting you'll see on the exam. First question, you are creating a dashboard and need to show a numerical value for the number of open cases. Which dashboard component best shows this? A, a donut chart, B, a metric, or C, a gauge? All right, I'll give you a couple more seconds. Feel free to pause. The answer is going to be B metric. If you remember the metric dashboard component, it's just going to show a number with some styling capability, so like you could change the color of the metric or the color of the number. That's about it. It's pretty basic. You wouldn't use a donut chart here because if you remember, the donut kind of looks like a pie chart and it's used for segmenting out different things.
