- [Instructor] So now that we've gone over some of the basic settings within Salesforce, let's go over how you'd go ahead and create a new user within Salesforce. I'm going to again, go into setup, and then in the quick find, we are going to search for users. All right, from users, we can go ahead and hit new user. All right, and here we can enter in all the information that we need to have. Anything with a red bar next to it is going to be required. So I'm going to start getting all of these pieces of information set. Let's see an email. We can enter a newsfusercourse and then the username does actually need to be unique across all different orgs. So I'm going to have this be janedoe and we can go ahead and enter in a title, a company, the department, division. This is information that will be available to other users within Salesforce to understand when they see Jane Doe has modified records or is associated with records.
