- [Narrator] Another thing that I wanted to mention is that when I'm modeling I really like to use sections, because sections allow you to get in close to those items that you're modeling and allow you to verify that the objects that you're modeling are lining up with that point cloud information. To place a section, a section is nothing more than a view of your model, so you can go to your view tab and then select on section. Then I'm gonna click over here on the right-hand side, right about this location and draw a section over in this direction. Now I can tell that the section is being taken from here down, because that's where the box is surrounding the point cloud. If we zoom in by just spinning the wheel of a mouse, we can see the box a little bit better. Now if I click on these arrows here and pull out that means everything from where this blue line is down will show up inside of the section view.
