- [Instructor] This week I want to give you a little troubleshooting technique that you can use when you suspect that there's something wrong with the reference plane settings inside a family. Now, why might you suspect that? Well, the most common reason would be you dimension the family in question and it doesn't seem to be dimensioning to the correct locations. So that in fact is what led me to discover that there was a problem with the family that I'm going to show you here in this particular video. So I'm going to zoom in here near this conference room at the bottom of the plan. And I've got these windows here, and they're just called slider with trim 60 by 48, so 60 inches by 48 inches. So I'm expecting the width of that window to be 60 inches wide or five feet. So let's check that out.
