- [Instructor] In this video, I want to talk about imported MESH files, and I'm going to focus on the OBJ file format. Now I'm starting here in Revit 2022 because 2022 introduced support for the OBJ file format. And it was a good first step, but it didn't quite go far enough. So what we're going to do is look at what 2022 gave us, and then we're going to contrast that to what we can now do in Revit 2023, which has introduced a few new features which are a vast improvement over the support we had in 22. So starting here in Revit 2022, I have two examples of OBJ imports. I'm going to zoom in right here and kind of show you. I've got this window surround unit right here, and I have this little statue over here. Now, as you can see, both of them are nearly illegible. And the reason for that is because what an OBJ file is, is just a MESH file format. And a MESH file is a series of little triangles that make up the surface of…
