Make a lollipop tree family, part 1

- [Instructor] This week, we're going to begin the process of creating a custom tree family. Now, the tree that we're going to make is a really simple schematic tree. It's going to be a lollipop tree. So it's literally going to look like a lollipop. A really simple trunk, and then kind of a round form on top of that to represent the tree. Now, most of us are probably familiar with the trees that come with the software. These are RPC trees. So if I select one of these, you can see over here, it says RPC tree. And you can usually tell an RPC tree very easily because it's got these two intersecting planes that you see in most render modes. But if you change your render mode to realistic shading, or if you actually perform a rendering, then those simple crossing planes there get swapped out with a photograph of the actual tree. And depending on the vantage point you're looking at it from that photograph can actually change…
