- [Instructor] This week we're going to talk about lighting groups. Now, if you've ever done any work with lighting in Revit then you may know that light fixtures are not simply objects. They actually cast light in your scene. So, they kind of serve two purposes in your model. So, any light fixture that you add will also potentially have a light source in it, which would contribute to rendering. So, I've got a variety of light fixtures here. I've got these pendant lights here. I've got some sconces on the walls here. I've even got one here on the desk, and some canned lights over here. Now, if you're doing renderings in Revit, you can manage your artificial lights using something called Lighting Groups. So, that's what I'd like to talk about this week.
