Creating a custom Earth fill pattern

- [Instructor] This week, we're going to talk about custom fill patterns. So years ago, I created a custom fill pattern for rotated earth hatch. The reason why when you apply an Earth hatch to a topography, it will come in in zero or 90 degrees like you see on the left, and it is not something that you can rotate because it is drafting pattern. And drafting patterns only support rotation for things like walls and roofs and so forth. Now, with modern versions of Revit and Toposolid, it's possible you might be able to get the out-of-the-box earth hatch to rotate but the choices for the rotation, if you watched last week's video, are just oriented to the screen or oriented to the object. You don't really have an option to say, "I want to rotate at 45 degrees." So for those reasons, I created this fill pattern years ago that was just a copy of the out-of-the-box Earth hatch rotated 45 degrees. Now I posted it on my Box…
