- [Instructor] This week, we're going to talk about the Revit.ini file. Now the Revit.ini file is a configuration file that's saved in text format that loads each time you launch Revit. Now, why might you care about this file? Well, the most common reason is if you happen to be responsible for installing Revit on many machines throughout the office, it might be desirable to have all of those machines configured in a similar fashion. So if you're building a deployment for Revit, then there actually is an option where you can load a custom INI during the deployment process, or even if you're manually installing those machines, you could manually copy that INI over to each of the machines in order to save yourself the trouble of having to configure those settings on each and every machine individually.
