Controlling rotation in a family: Part one

- [Instructor] I've got a fun little family editor exercise for us this week. Sometime ago, it was actually a couple years ago. A good friend of mine, Sean Fruin, approached me and asked me about creating a die family for a dice game that he was actually working on in Revit and he wanted it to be fully rotational. So of course, liking a good challenge, I took it on and we worked together and I came up with this family here, which is fully rotational so that you can roll the dice and have them come up with any number. So you can see I've got six versions of them right here, one with each number facing up, but those are just the 90 degree rotation increments. You can actually rotate this family in any angle you like. So what I'm going to do is select one of these and copy it next to itself. Select it again, Edit Type, duplicate the type, just call this test. And then I click OK, go back into Edit Type. And then right here…
