Editing a column schedule
Now that we have a good grasp on adding columns, let's take a look at adding slanted columns. By setting up a two-point system, we can configure the slant of our column. We'll need to configure some alternate grids or reference planes that accurately do it though. So let's actually start a new project here. We won't use the one we've been working on. So in Revit, under Models, let's go New. For the template file, click Browse. Select Structural Analysis default, click open, click OK. In the project browser under Structural Plans, let's go up to level 1. On the Structured tab, let's click the Grid button right here. We've done this before. I'm going to draw a grid like right about here. Hit escape a few times. I'm going to select this grid line, turn on the top bubble, hit escape, right-click on grid line 1, and let's create similar.
