You're about to find out that Revit keeps track of everything. Remember that column onset we just did? Revit seems to know exactly what you're doing. What I want to do here is explore just how Revit creates a column schedule. So to do that, we'll jump into Revit. Under Models, Open. Browse through your exercise files. Let's open up structural 0204 and click open. Let's go to the view tab. Let's click the schedules drop-down. Let's click graphic column schedule. Wow it's pretty quick. Let's zoom in on one of our columns. Here's all of our levels, here's where the column goes, right? It knows that column A1 is this column here, right? So we have a column for each location. Now what we can do, if we select this column, it knows that it's a column. If we change the detail level of our view to find it changes it to find.
