Autodesk has added a new type of reinforcing which can follow the path of surfaces that it can be frustrating but let me guide you through it because I think I've got it figured out. Okay so under models we're actually going to make a new one. For the template file click Browse. Select Structural Analysis default then click open. Then click OK. Go to the structure tab and under foundation let's grab a slab. We'll make an arc so click on start and radius arc. Let's go from here, I don't know, 50 feet or so up to here. Make a 40 foot radius. Hit escape a couple of times. On the draw panel click pick lines. Let's offset that 12 feet. Offset this downward. Hit escape a couple of times. Now on the draw panel click the line button. Let's go from here to here, from here to here. Okay. Click finish. We can get rid of the span direction, it's not gonna help us anyway. Delete it. Let's go to a 3D view.
