- [Narrator] If you dig into your Camera menu, you might actually find that Log is an option. Now it can go by many different names. For example, GoPro has their Protune version of their codec, which even offers what they call GoPro Native Color, which is another way of saying Log. A Black Magic camera offers something called a Film Recording mode. So it's called different names. Each manufacturer approaches it a little bit differently. Some of them are very precise and have different flavors of logs. Sony, Canon, they've innovated and they even offer different numbers, S-Log2, S-Log3. - Yeah, you know it's funny. On some of the consumer level cameras or even the sort of Pro-sumer level cameras or even just for marketing reasons, as you kind of pointed out, some camera manufacturers are hesitant to even use the word Log cause it sounds... - Cause it's math. - It sounds like math and it sounds technical.
