How to learn statistics for data analytics
- Maybe you're interested in becoming a data analyst, but you're worried that you aren't good enough at math. If this is you, don't worry. You don't have to be a mathematician to be a data analyst. My background is in math, and I really like math but I understand that not everyone shares the same sentiment as I do. If you're not like me, the good news is that data analysts typically don't do a bunch of hardcore math in their day-to-day work. But at the end of the day, all of these queries and programming decisions are really math. So let's talk about some of the basic concepts you should know, but we're definitely not going to talk about all of them. In my experience, it's best to focus most of your time on two main areas, basic logic and statistics. Without these skills, it'll be difficult to jump into coding and produce quality analyses.
