- [Instructor] To be successful with PowerShell it is crucial to possess fundamental skills in networking and operating systems, as they form the foundation for understanding how devices communicate and how operating systems function. A basic understanding of PowerShell, the scripting language is necessary due to its widespread use in this course, especially for managing Windows-based servers. A lab environment is also helpful consisting of both client and a server, and a must have for your own hands-on experience and testing. It also provides a safe space for you to learn, make mistakes, and master those new skills. Please note that while we'll utilize PowerShell extensively, this course won't cover all the basic syntax of PowerShell. Therefore, a preliminary understanding is beneficial to fully grasp all of this content.
